Pack A ShoeboxAboutFAQ's

WHAT is Operation Christmas Child?

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a hands-on way for you to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts. We collect the shoeboxes and distribute them in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in vulnerable situations around the world.

WHY get involved?

Shoebox gifts are blessing children in need, but also opening opportunities for the Gospel to be shared. Many of the children who receive shoeboxes are offered to participate in a 12-lesson discipleship program called The Greatest Journey. More than 26.5 million children have enrolled in this program since 2009 and over 12.6 million children have made decisions to follow Jesus in more than 100 countries!

Your church can use OCC as an international missions project. Packing a simple shoebox gift is having an eternal impact not only with children, but families and whole communities making decisions to follow Christ! Your partnership will reach more children with the Gospel.

“My shoebox gave me hope. Still today, I think that it was a message, a gift from God. These precious shoeboxes share the love of Christ with children around the world.”
