How Samaritan’s Purse is Responding to the Earthquakes in Christchurch

For many years Grace Vineyard Church has been working alongside 6 local schools in the eastern suburbs of Christchurch. Despite having lost their own building in the recent earthquakes, and working in temporary facilities, they continue to work with the children and families of these communities.

Now, in response to requests from their local schools, they have put together a relief package to assist suffering families through the winter months.
Each Winter Essentials Pack contains:

  • a new warm mink blanket for each child
  • 2 months supply of vitamins for each child
  • a hot water bottle for each child
  • a dynamo torch for each child
  • a collapsible water container
  • a wind up emergency torch / radio / phone charger
  • one first aid kit
  • hand sanitiser

Samaritan’s Purse is supporting Grace Vineyard Church in this project so that they can supply these vital winter packs to people suffering in some of the most affected areas.

Please join us in supporting our New Zealand neighbours. Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated.
