Digital Marketing Specialist

Location: King Park, NSW
Role: Full time position, immediate start
Reporting to: Marketing and Communications Manager
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000


The Digital Marketing Specialist role for Samaritan’s Purse Australia and New Zealand and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is a Sydney based role and is part of the Marketing and Communications team for these two global Christian not for profit organisations.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist is an integral part of a busy communications and marketing team. We are looking for an energetic & reliable digital marketer who can focus on social ads, google ads and website management for this newly created role.

•  Plan, create and monitor social media campaigns, create meaningful content to elevate our brand and promote our products.
•  Increase brand awareness and consideration in both digital and traditional marketing channels.
•  Deliver and implement digital paid campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing manager, external stakeholders.
•  Manage website content across 2 website sites and monitor analytics across digital platforms to drive positive user experience and increase audience share.
•  Proactively write, edit and update marketing and communications material for multiple online / emerging platforms.
•  Measure the performance of our strategies in conjunction with the Marketing Manager, SEO / Paid Ads, to identify and develop new ways of growing and reaching new audiences.
•  Ability to capture and develop highly engaging content.
•  Work and collaborate with ministries to ensure creative excellence is achieved.
•  Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.
•  Responsible for planning of the content calendar; and be required to create channel specific content, for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.


•  At least two years of digital marketing experience essential.
•  Strong written and oral communication.
•  Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, WordPress, and Google Ads.
•  Knowledge of SEO best practice.
•  Basic Graphic Design knowledge is an advantage.
•  Strong attention to detail.
•  Agreement and compliance with the SP, OCC and BGEA Statements of Faith and Mission Statements.
•  Strong interpersonal, planning, and organisational skills.
•  Ability to work cooperatively and harmoniously within a team.
•  Demonstrate Christian values aligned with the ministries and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
