Shelter for 3,500 Families
One of the most urgent needs after the earthquakes was providing shelter for those who have lost their homes. Alongside local partners, Samaritan’s Purse has been able to provide thousands of families with shelter tents, which serve as a safe place to stay warm and dry. These tents are also equipped with hygiene kits filled with essential supplies that families lost in the quakes.

The earthquakes have left many people without proper bathrooms and no place to shower. In the Hatay region, our teams recently assembled a large Samaritan’s Purse tent, which is now being used as a primary school classroom for 250 children. This is an incredible achievement, as providing education to children affected by disasters is essential to help them move forward and rebuild their lives.
