Water & Hygiene
Wells Draw Water and Hope for a Better Future
20 March 2024
Over the past year, Samaritan’s Purse installed new infrastructure to improve access to clean water for 10 schools in Vietnam’s Lao Cai’s province.
During 2022, Australian and New Zealand partners have supported clean-water projects for families in Cambodia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Through our efforts around the world, we provided clean water to more than 315,000 people, constructed or rehabilitated 1,200 water access points, and educated over 347,000 people on healthy hygiene practices.
Our livelihood projects offer physical relief for struggling families while sowing the hope we share in Jesus Christ. People are empowered to earn a sustainable income as we teach and provide agricultural training in vegetables and livestock.
Australian and New Zealand partners have provided families in countries like Cambodia, Mongolia and Vietnam with animals and vegetable farming resources to help lift them out of poverty.
Thank you for journeying with us as we reflect in our 2022 Impact Report on the BIG IMPACT your support made possible.
In this report you’ll see updates from all of our projects, including Operation Christmas Child and our International and Australian Disaster Response teams. We hope and pray that you will continue walking with us on this journey through 2023 and beyond.
