2025 has been a year we have seen God open doors that were beyond our prayers and hope.
Internationally, we have continued to build schools, provide communities with clean water, and families with financial livelihoods.
Your support has also equipped staff and volunteers to serve urgent needs in the face of conflict and natural disasters abroad and at home.
Helping the Lost in Sudan
In response to conflict in Sudan, 12,000 tons of food—including airdropped sacks of maize, beans and salt—fed over 300,000 displaced people. Meanwhile, our Emergency Field hospital served more than 10,000 people with medical care.


Feeding the Hungry in Gaza
In Gaza, more than 1,400 patients have been treated, 500 families have received household tents and more than 1 million packets of supplementary food have been delivered to assist mothers feed their children.
Caring for the Hurt in Jamaica
Within 48hours of Hurricane Melissa making landfall, disaster response specialists—including five from Australia—established a network of relief in Jamaica’s Black River region. While the Emergency Field Hospital has treated more than 3,300 patients, community water systems continue to serve up to 10,000 people a day.


Bringing Safety in Vietnam
Several severe typhoons and storms left hundreds dead and thousands of victims without basic shelter or necessities. Utilising rafts and small boats, our teams delivered food, water and essentials to hundreds of families cutoff by floodwater.
Bringing comfort in Myanmar
Responding after a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake, Samaritan’s Purse provided clean water, and 5,000 relief kits as our Emergency Field Hospital treated more than 5,800 victims.

International Projects
Samaritan’s Purse facilitates development and humanitarian aid projects in over 100 countries around the world. Through the generous support of our donors we have been able to open new schools in Cambodia, provide communities with clean water and bless families with income opportunities.
Education
Samaritan’s Purse continues to focus on Education programs throughout Asia. In Cambodia we’re working towards our 50th school through the support of our partners.
Clean Water
Samaritan’s Purse provides safe water for communities in the world’s poorest nations with wells, rainwater tanks, BioSand water filters, and training in health and hygiene practices.
Honeybees
Our beekeeping projects are helping disadvantaged families by providing them with an income, and an opportunity to alter the course of their lives and those of their children.
Australia Disaster Relief
Throughout 2024-25, Samaritan’s Purse partnered with local churches to mobilise over 400 volunteers to deliver 15,000 hours serving disaster-affected communities in Jesus’ Name. In 2026 our volunteers will return to provide restoration and hope.
Ingham, QLD—Flood Relief
Just north of Townsville, QLD, scores of volunteers deployed to flood-stricken Ingham to help families remove damaged furniture and belongings, and clean mould from homes.
Taree, NSW—Flood Relief
Throughout May and June, hundreds of volunteers worked in Taree and surrounding areas to help flood-affected families recover from the worst flood event in recent history.
Taree, NSW—Flood Rebuild
In 2026, volunteers will return to Taree and Wingham. Our goal is to help residents continue recovery by replacing walls, installing kitchens & bathrooms, and more.
