Overview

In March 2021, torrential rain engulfed much of New South Wales, including Western Sydney and the Hawkesbury River regions. This resulted in major flooding and widespread devastation. Thousands of residents were forced to evacuate, and many properties were completely submerged by flood waters, while others suffered major damage.

From March to June, with the invaluable support of local churches, Samaritan’s Purse Australian Disaster Relief volunteers faithfully worked in the Hawkesbury regions of Windsor and Wisemans Ferry, helping individuals and families to recover from the damage to their homes caused by the flooding. They cleaned and cleared debris and household items, listened to stories of grief and desperation, and above all, helped in Jesus’ Name.

We served the Windsor community in Jesus’ Name.
