In March 2018, bushfires raged in Tathra New South Wales, destroying or causing damage to over 100 homes. Samaritan’s Purse deployed our Disaster Relief Unit and a team of volunteers to work alongside homeowners during the recovery period. Our volunteers completed 66 work orders and delivered 70 bushfire recovery kits filled with tools to help with cleaning up and searching for items of personal value that survived the fires.
