Samaritan’s Purse is providing grocery vouchers to those who lost everything but their lives in recent attacks.
On The Ground After Missile Strikes
Apartments that once bustled with activity are now a pile of ashen ruins. Israelis, who called these high-rise buildings home, escaped with little but their lives after recent Iranian missile attacks. Samaritan’s Purse staff members are at the scene of the attacks providing grocery vouchers to victims to help them continue to survive.
Watch the video above where Samaritan’s Purse Country Coordinator John Silkman give a brief report at the site of an attack of how we are helping in Jesus’ Name.
We have also provided 20 ambulances to Magen David Adom, the national emergency response service of Israel. Many of these vehicles are armoured to protect both patients and medics as they provide life-saving care. Samaritan’s Purse is planning to deliver an additional 22 ambulances to Israel in the coming months.
Elsewhere in Israel and Gaza, we are supplying the war-weary population with millions of litres of fresh water as well as basic medical checkups.
Please pray for all those affected by these missile strikes and for all those suffering from war in the Middle East. As Psalm 122:6 commands, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.”
