Throughout March, strong winds and heavy rainfall resulting from Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred left its mark across Australia’s east coast, leaving behind in an estimated $1.2 billion in damages across thousands of homes and infrastructure.
Just days after completing flood relief work in north Queensland’s Ingham, Samaritan’s Purse staff and volunteers visited regions which were hardest hit by Ex-TC Alfred. Our teams completed clean-ups across southern Queensland’s Hervey Bay and Gold Coast, where residents have been struggling with fallen trees and flood-damaged property. Volunteers have been able to provide practical relief for weary homeowners to kickstart the recovery of their homes and properties.
Thank you for your ongoing support of this ministry to offer hope in Jesus’ Name. Your support enables our volunteers to come alongside affected communities in a practical way, reminding them that God has not forgotten them.
