Overview

Samaritan’s Purse will be hosting a community service project to help residents still recovering from the impacts of major storms last year. Nearly a year on, families are still struggling with insurance claims, downed trees, and property damage. This project will bring volunteers together to make an impact – practical assistance and offering hope by helping in Jesus name.

Get Involved

Volunteer teams will be going out daily from Monday, 28 October. The scope of work expected is property clearing, green waste removal, chainsaw, property maintenance, and chaplaincy support to residents. No skills or prior experience is needed to volunteer. Samaritan’s Purse will provide all tools, training, and safety equipment and place volunteers with an experienced team leader.

Help Fund a Disaster Relief Shower Unit

Natural disasters leave families vulnerable and without basic necessities. When our Australian Disaster Relief teams arrive, we’re restoring dignity along with aid.

To support survivors, first responders, and our teams, we’re building a Disaster Relief Shower Unit with showers, toilets, and laundry facilities.

Help us raise $100,000 to provide comfort and restore normalcy to those in need.
