Through your partnership with Australian Disaster Relief, you are actively contributing to the support and recovery efforts for individuals and families affected by major disasters. These disasters encompass a wide range, including devastating bushfires, destructive floods, powerful cyclones, and more. Your support plays a crucial role in providing much-needed assistance during these challenging times, helping affected communities regain stability and rebuild their lives.
Samaritan’s Purse was able to come alongside many hurting people to provide relief in Jesus’ Name last year. In partnership with local churches in Israel, responded to an earthquake in the Middle East, hurricane in Mexico, and are still on the ground in the Ukraine providing medical and practical assistance to refugees.
With your support, Samaritan’s Purse Australia and New Zealand completed the construction of its 46th school in Cambodia last year, providing thousands of children with an education. Our We Can Read We Can Write (WCRW) and Schools for Kids (SFK) projects provided opportunities for teachers, students and families to increase their skills and receive an education to give hope for their futures in Jesus’ Name.
Samaritan’s Purse Australia and New Zealand provided clean water sources for thousands of people in Cambodia and Vietnam last year with your support. Our Water For Families (WFF) and Genesis 41 projects provided opportunities to bring both physical relief and hope in the Name of Jesus Christ to individuals, families and entire villages in need.
With your support, Samaritan’s Purse Australia and New Zealand educated and trained hundreds of people in Mongolia and Vietnam last year about livestock sustainability. Our Winter Disaster Recovery project and our Community Advancement through Livelihoods for Families project provided opportunities to bring both physical relief and hope in the Name of Jesus Christ to individuals, families and entire villages in need.
God continues to be faithful to use Operation Christmas Child and The Greatest Journey to open doors for Gospel outreach in places that have never heard about the eternal hope of Christ. Boys and girls worldwide are coming to faith in Jesus and sharing the Good News with family and friends. As they do, communities are being transformed by God’s love, and churches are being started.
